PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information I collect:

When you sign up for my email list on my website, I collect your email address. Other list-building services I've used, such as BookFunnel and InstaFreebie, may also collect your first and last name. I don't need, want, or use your name for anything. If you suspect your name is included with your address on my email list and you want it removed, email me at: reneeregent@yahoo.com and I'll remove it.

My email provider, Zibster/Photobiz, has their own Privacy Policy, which can be read at http://info.zibster.com/privacy.

My website provider, Zibster/Photobiz, may also log data such as your IP address in connection to visits to my site.

I do not track, hold or share any other information about visitors to my website or on my email contact list. If you wish to unsubscribe to my email list, you may do so any time by scrolling to the bottom of any email I have sent and click on the word, “Unsubscribe”.

To leave a comment on my blog or to contact me through my contact form, you will need to provide a name and an email address. Please be aware that the name and any other information you provide in blog comments will be publicly viewable.

I do not use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook pixels, or other advertising/tracking services.

2. What I do with this information:

I collect your email address so I can send you email newsletters. The newsletters will include (but are not limited to) news about new releases and special offers, news about multi-author promos, featured and recommended books, progress reports and sneak peeks, and links to free stories. I usually send about once a month after you complete the introductory sequence.

Information about email opens, link clicks, and open locations helps me gauge the success of my email campaigns and improve future campaigns, sort subscribers into different groups in order to send them emails of particular interest, optimize my books' availability, and other things to improve my business and serve my readers better.

I do not use email addresses used in commenting on my blog for anything. If you contact me via the contact form, if I reply, I will use the email address you provided.

3. Sharing:

I don't share your information with anyone, other than with my email provider, Zibster/Photobiz, or if complying with a legal requirement.

I am not responsible if Zibster/Photobiz or my cloud storage experiences a data breach. However, if I do hear about such a breach, I'll do my best to let you know.

4. How long I keep your information:

 Contact form information is stored on my Zibster account until I delete it. Other information remains stored on Zibster’s servers until deleted, which can be done upon request.

If you want me to delete your information, send your request to reneeregent@yahoo.com and I'll do my best to remove it in a timely manner.

5. Children under age 18:

This site, my newsletter, and my books are intended for adults.  If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide me with any of your personal data, including your email address.

6. Your rights in relation to your personal data:

• to see what Personal Data I hold about you (if any), including why I am holding it;

• to ask me to change/correct your Personal Data;

• to ask me to delete your Personal Data;

• to ask me to restrict the collection, recording, and use of your Personal Data;

• to withdraw any consents you have given me to the collection, recording, and use of your Personal Data; and

• to express any concerns you have about third parties’ use of your Personal Data.

I am not responsible for the policies and practices of third parties.

7. My website and blog contain links to other sites. I am not responsible for the policies and practices of other sites.

Under the GDPR, I'm required to have a "data controller/data protection officer." I'm not a big company, I'm not even a small company, I'm just one person, so that's me. If you have questions or concerns about your data, such as wanting to know what data I have on you, request a copy of your data, unsubscribe from my email list, correct your information, or request that your data be deleted, contact me at reneeregent@yahoo.com.
